PCT INTERNATIONAL MODEL MA2-M
The MA2-## series broadband telecommunications subscriber drop amplifier designed for customer premise amplifieration. These amplifiers can be used to compensate for excessive signal attinuation from long coaxial cable service drops and/or excessive signal splitting losses caused my multi-room installations.
Includes; AC/DC 12 volt UL, Class 2 power transformer. 6kV surge protected (IEEE587 for category B3 devices).
Aluminum 360 die cast housing with RFI gaskets. Power coat baked in paint, provides for long enviromentally protection to the device. Tongue & groove back plate design provides 100dB RFI. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications
DOCSIS® 2.1 (D2) & 3.0 (D3) cable modem compatible.
Local or remote DC powering via coaxial cable. Note; Require power inserter & coaxial jumper (sold separatly).
Provides 15dB of forward gain from 54MHz - 1Ghz. Passive return band 5-42MHz (for proper cable modem operation).
Intergrated IC, GaAs FET, very low noise. Device typically used in satellite low noise LNBs.
Surge withstanding in INPUT F PORT; 6kV, IEEE C62.41-1991, for category B3 combination wave. ALL OUTPUT, POWER INSERTING F PORTS; 6kV, IEEE C62.41-1991, for category A3 ring wave and 1kV combination wave.
Enviromentally harden blocking capacitors on all RF ports. Operating range -40 to +140°F. (-40° to +60° C)
Patented "DSM Siezing Mechaniism" F connectors that are SCTE compliant. F-ports are made of machined brass and nickel plated. Device is water sealed and can withstand >15 PSI internal pressure to all F ports.
Patent pending magnetic resistant ferrite cores provide excellent digital transport charteristics for video, data and telephony services.
