FEATURES:

Standard broadband power inserters have an operational bandwidth from 5-1002Mhz. The cable modem band has enhansed pathway in the 16-40MHz frequency spectrum.

Unique Patented FIC Port™ on power supply coupling F port.

The model IPPIM Power Inserter Module combines RF signals and DC voltage on the same cable to enable remote powering of a premise amplifier

Round center conductor siezing pins with white insulators contained in the SCTE compliant F ports

All F ports are highly precision machined with SCTE compliant threading and are spaced on 1" centers.

Nickel-plated, zinc die-cast housing with soldered back plate provides -130dB of RFI integrity.

All ports are enviromental sealed and to withstand 15 psi of internal pressure. All ports are flat topped to increase the ground and interface seal comply to all existing SCTE standards.

High return loss (VSWR) across entire ops. Allow reduced reflections when digital signals are transported.

All components are temperature hardened. Devices designed to remain stable in enviroments of -40 to +60o C and maintain all technical specifications.

Non-memory retaining beryllium copper center conductor seizing pin within the F port holds fast to coaxial center conductor.

Flat machined F end ports, provides excellent mating plane surface for proper grounding between the F connect and the device.

DESCRIPTION;

Extreme Broadband's IPPIM, power inserter is used to back feed power to the OTA preamplifier or distribution amplifier through one of the RF output ports. ... The output port that is used to back feed power is usually marked as RF OUT/DC In or something similar. It is important that if the power inserter is used that it is insThe IPPIM's unique design allows coupling of powering directly from the powering adapter without the use of a any coaxial jumpers.
